Happy New Year, Auxiliary family!

We’re kicking off 2026 with some updates, new events, and plenty of ways to get involved

New Meeting Night & Location

Big News: Auxiliary monthly meetings are moving to the 3rd Monday of the month and will now be held upstairs in the small hall. Same time, 6:00 PM

As a thank-you for showing up and staying involved, everyone who attends the meeting will receive a ticket for one free drink in the Canteen following the meeting.

Thank you all for your patience while we figured out how to keep Auxiliary business running smoothly and let everyone enjoy those shiny new pull tab machines downstairs—speaking of which, if you haven’t tried them yet… what are you waiting for? They’re fun, they’re new, and they help support the Post!

We Need You (Yes, You!)

We have a busy few months ahead, and these events are only possible because of our amazing members.

If you can:

ü  help set up,

ü  sell tickets,

ü  bake something,

ü  help for Queen of Hearts Sundays,

ü  or just be an extra set of hands for an hour,

we will happily take any time you can give. Truly—even an hour makes a difference.

Help on Queen of Hearts Sundays

We can always use extra hands on Queen of Hearts Sundays—it’s a great way to meet people and support the Post.

Please use the sign-up sheet located next to the kitchen in the Canteen,

or talk with Sue or Kevin about how you can help.

No long-term commitment needed—just whatever time you can spare.

Weekly Yoga – Unwind & Reset

Did you know:

§  Yoga can help you sleep better by calming your nervous system.

§  Just a few minutes of stretching and breathing can reduce stress and lower your heart rate.

Starting February 5th through March, join us for weekly yoga in the large hall.

When: Weekly starting Feb 5 – through March

Where: Large Hall

Cost: $5 for members, $10 for non-members

Come as you are—no experience needed. It’s a great way to wind down after a long day.

Poker Tournament – February 21

February 21st is our Poker Tournament.

Time to get your game face on, shuffle up, and deal!

More details will be shared at the Post and on our usual channels, but mark your calendar now and plan to join in the fun.

Bake Sale & Pancake Breakfast – Starting March 7

Beginning March 7th, the Auxiliary is partnering with the SAL to host a monthly bake sale during the pancake breakfast.

And pick up some sweet treats to take home!

May: Supporting Our 2026 Grads in Service

Plans are in the works for a May dinner and open house recognizing and supporting our Crown Point 2026 graduates and their families who have answered the call to serve.

We’ll share more details soon on how we’ll honor them, and how our Auxiliary will support these new enlistees as they begin their journeys.

Stay tuned—this is a meaningful event we’re proud to host.

May Luau – Save the Date

Also in May, dust off those grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts—we’re planning a Luau!

Think tropical vibes, fun decorations, great food, and a chance to just relax together. Details and date coming soon, but consider this your official notice to start planning your island attire.
